The most direct way to get to Hoedspruit is to book a flight on SAA directly into our airport (HDS).

There are direct flights daily from Johannesburg and Cape Town. You can pick up a rental car or we can arrange transport for an additional fee.

Directions from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, Nelspruit (approx. 2.25 hours):

1. Follow the signs to White River, and then the R40 all the way to Hoedspruit, passing through Hazyview, Bushbuckridge, and Acornhoek.
2. The entrance road to the Wildlife Estate is on the R40 just as you get into the town at a four-way stop, turn right. You will see a large Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate billboard.
3. Follow the road for about 300 meters past the Pick n Pay Centre to the entrance of the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Once at the entrance, follow the signs to the visitors’ entrance and let security know that you are going to stand 312, Nyaleti Lodge.
4. Once inside the Estate turn left on Rostvy
5. Turn right on Maroela
6. 312 is Nyaleti Lodge (and check in)
7. 310 is Nyaleti Villa

Directions from OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg (approx. 5 hours)

1. Take the N12/N4 towards Witbank
2. It will merge with the N4 from Pretoria, the main route to Nelspruit
3. After Middelburg, take the Belfast off-ramp R540 and follow the signs to Dullstroom and then Lydenburg
4. After Lydenburg, follow the R36 route to Ohrigstad – through the Abel Erasmus pass and tunnel and then onto Hoedspruit.
5. Drive through the town and over a railway bridge until you get to the R40 T-junction. Turn right onto the R40
6. At the four way stop, turn left. You will see a large Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate billboard. Follow the road for about 300 meters past the Pick n Pay Centre to the entrance of the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Once at the entrance, follow the signs to the visitors’ entrance and let security know that you are going to stand 312, Nyaleti Lodge and let security know that you are going to stand 312, Nyaleti Lodge.
7. Once inside the Estate turn left on Rostvy
8. Turn right on Maroela
9. 312 is Nyaleti Lodge (and check in)
10. 310 is Nyaleti Villa
