We are in a malaria endemic area and extra care should be taken during the summer months (September-March). Please use bug spray and consult your doctor before traveling.

Check-In hours are from 2-6pm. If you arrive after 7 pm, we do charge a late check-in fee of R250, as we are a small lodge with no night staff.

Check-Out time is at 10:00 am. If you are leaving before 7am, please settle your invoice the night before.

We accept cash, EFT (for deposit only), and credit cards (Visa/Mastercard) as payment methods. A 50% deposit is required to reserve a room and the balance is due upon check-out.

Hoedspruit and the surrounding area is a year-round destination. We are in a sub-tropical climate, so for most of the year, it is hot during the day. Game viewing can be at it’s best in the winter months, however, the wet summer season brings full waterholes, lush bushveld, much newborn wildlife, and the summer migrant birds arrive.

We are not a self-catering facility. We kindly ask that you do not bring outside food onto the property. The quaint tourist town of Hoedspruit is only 5 minutes from our front door with many fantastic restaurants to enjoy your lunch or dinner.

We apologize but the Estate does not allow outside pets. Many owners on the estate have dogs. You can give ours a hug if you are missing your fur baby.
