More about Nyaleti Lodge

Wake up to the sounds of the birds (the estate is a bird lovers’ paradise) and a good possibility of warthog, impala, waterbuck, wildebeest or zebra outside as you open the curtains! The Estate is amply stocked with a wide variety of plains game.

Enjoy walking, lounging on the patio, swimming in the pool and relaxing in the garden during the day. Sundowners can be sipped on the patio as night falls and the nocturnal animals emerge. For the adventurous, a night drive on the estate can be rewarding.

Hoedspruit is a beautiful town and the gateway to the greater Kruger area. Eastgate Airport is a short drive away, and we are very happy to meet you at the airport. Your own transport is not essential. There is so much to see and do!

Activities range from game drives and walks on the estate, sundowners at one of the dams, to day trips to the Kruger National Park which is just 45 minutes away. Pam and Richard can also arrange trips to the Panorama route, the famous Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation Centre, the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre and so much more.

What sets our lodge apart is the service and hospitality we provide. We love to meet and get to know our guests, and will do everything we can to ensure your stay is a genuine highlight of your visit. Nyaleti 312 offers the original Cheetah and Lion rooms, and is also the primary residence of Pam and Richard.

The rooms are beautifully decorated with canvasses of Richard’s wildlife photography – a real passion of his. Photographic tours can also be arranged. Pam prides herself on her magnificent breakfasts, picnic lunches can be prepared, and evening braais or barbecues can be enjoyed around the fire as you listen to the sounds of the bush. Hoedspruit also boasts a wide choice of restaurants to dine at.

Nyaleti 310 is a brand new property, custom built by the same builder, and owned by Richard’s brother, who resides in England. It is a mere 100 metres away, and is on the greenbelt with stunning bushveld views. It boasts a pool, upstairs viewing deck, beautiful garden, patio and braai area. There are three delightful bedrooms.

Equally exciting is our partnership with Nkorho Bush Lodge  in the world renowned Sabi-Sands Reserve. This is the best place in the world to view leopard and the rest of the Big Five. You are guaranteed the experience of a lifetime and Nkorho offers the best value for money in the Reserve. We can even take you there and fetch you if transport is a problem – it is under two hours away.
